We would like to draw your attention to a recent publication by O. Prat et al., in which TC-PRISMA has successfully been used for modeling precipitation kinetics in a novel 9%Cr heat resistant steel. This highly interesting paper can be accessed by following the link below:
Study of nucleation, growth and coarsening of precipitates in a novel 9%Cr heat resistant steel: Experimental and modeling
In an earlier publication A. Costa e Silva et al. give example of using TC-PRISMA for modeling precipitation kinetics of AlN in a deep drawing low carbon steel. You may access this paper by following below link.
Application of computational modeling to the kinetics of precipitation of aluminum nitride in steels
In both publications TC-PRISMA version 1 has been used. Version 2 of TC-PRISMA was released on June 27th, 2013 and contains the following two important improvements: 1) The ability to treat non-isothermal conditions and 2) A model for estimating the interfacial energy between matrix and precipitate phases.
