Roadmap for Platform Support

Thermo-Calc Software provides platform support on a variety of the latest platforms in order to meet the needs of our users. The following roadmaps are intended for planning purposes and are subject to change.

Windows 64-Bit: Thermo-Calc, all Add-on Modules, and all SDKs

Discontinued Platforms

  • Support for Windows 10 will end starting with the 2026a release, scheduled for December 2025, in alignment with Microsoft’s Windows 10 end-of-support announcement. Users with Windows 10 are therefore advised to migrate to a newer operating system.
  • Support for installing and running the Thermo-Calc software package on Windows 7 and 8 was dropped after the 2021a release. Users with Windows 7 or Windows 8 are therefore advised to migrate to a newer operating system.
  • Support for installing and running the Thermo-Calc software package on Windows 32-bit was dropped after the 2017b release. Users with a 32-bit platform installation are therefore advised to migrate to a 64-bit platform.
  • Support for installing and running the Thermo-Calc software package on all Linux 32-bit platforms has been dropped as of Thermo-Calc 2016a.
