Building upon the successful foundation and legacy of its twelve predecessors – Japan (1988), Australia (1997), USA (2000), Spain (2003), Vancouver-Canada (2006), Germany (2009), Canada (2011), USA (2013), Austria (2016), France (2018), a Virtual Conference in June 2021, and Austria (2023) – THERMEC continues to uphold its established principles.

The THERMEC conference serves as a pivotal platform, uniting professionals including engineers, technologists, and researchers from industry, academia, and government research laboratories across diverse nations such as Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Republic of Korea, PR China, India, Brazil, Southeast Asia, and Russia.
