Update Released for Thermo-Calc 2021a

An update has been released for Thermo-Calc 2021a to fix three issues that were discovered in the software. If you use the Diffusion Module (DICTRA), the MOBMG2 magnesium database, or are on a Windows computer with the language set to Japanese, we recommend that you update your software.

Users who are affected by the issues and who have a valid Maintenance & Support Subscription will be contacted with instructions on how to install the update shortly.

Highlights of the Update

Diffusion Module (DICTRA)

A bug was fixed that caused the program to omit some information in plot legends of diffusion simulations, making it hard to distinguish curves in the plot.

MOBMG2: Magnesium-based Mobility Database

A bug was fixed that made the MOBMG2 database incompatible with the TCMG6 database in certain instances.

Japanese Windows Computers

A bug was fixed that prevented Thermo-Calc from starting on Windows computers that have the language set to Japanese.
