The popular School for Advanced Thermodynamic Assessment (SATA) is back this summer for another session. Ph.D. students, post-docs, and scientists working with assessment of thermodynamic systems or interested in learning how to integrate this into their work are invited to register for the school.

The aim of the summer school is to provide an advanced course on thermodynamic modeling using the CALPHAD method. Students will learn about computational thermodynamics through practical assessment of real systems with assistance by experts.

The five day course, which is taught in English, will be held in Toulouse, France this year. Space is limited to only 35 participants, so interested students are encouraged to register early. To learn more or register for the course, visit the SATA2022 website.
