1. Protection of Human Rights and Prohibition of Forced Labor, Child Labor, Prison Labor and Human Trafficking
Our company is committed to upholding the human rights of all employees, contractors, and agents. We strictly prohibit:
- Forced labor
- Child labor
- Prison labor
- Human trafficking
These practices are illegal under Swedish law, including:
- Swedish Criminal Code (Brottsbalken), Chapter 4, Sections 1a and 1b, which criminalizes trafficking in human beings for forced labor and exploitation under clearly unreasonable conditions.
- The Act on the Protection of Persons Reporting Irregularities (2021:890), which implements the EU Whistleblower Directive and protects individuals who report serious misconduct, including human rights violations.
2. Internal Policies Supporting Human Rights
We maintain the following policies that support human rights and ethical conduct:
- Equality and Anti-Harassment Policy: Promotes equal rights and prohibits discrimination and harassment based on gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
- Whistleblower Policy: Enables employees, contractors, and agents to report misconduct confidentially and without fear of retaliation.
3. Reporting Mechanisms and Protection Against Retaliation
Employees, contractors, and agents can report violations of human rights or other serious misconduct through our internal whistleblowing system. This system complies with the Swedish Whistleblower Act (2021:890) and includes:
- Secure and confidential reporting channels (written, oral, or in-person).
- Independent handling of reports.
- Acknowledgement of receipt within 7 days.
- Feedback within 3 months.
- Protection against retaliation, including legal remedies if retaliation occurs.
Reports can also be made externally to relevant authorities if needed.
