WMC (World Materials Conference) was initiated and hosted by the C-MRS. As the flagship conference of C-MRS, the World Materials Conference attracts thousands of international experts every year, promoting innovation and communication in global materials science.
WMS (World Materials Summit) is an international conference jointly initiated by the C-MRS, the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS), and the International Union of Materials Research Societies (IUMRS) in 2007. The summit has gradually become a major platform for the global materials science community.
IUMRS-ICA (International Union of Materials Research Societies Internation Conference in Asia ) was initiated in 1993 by the Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS) in collaboration with materials research societies from Japan, South Korea, India, and other countries, proposing the idea to the International Union of Materials Research Societies (IUMRS).
This conference will bring together the 3rd World Materials Conference, the 9th World Materials Summit, and the 26th IUMRS-ICA organized by C-MRS. It will be held from 14-17 October 2025, in Guilin, China, gathering top scholars and researchers from the global materials science and technology fields. The event will showcase the latest scientific achievements and technological breakthroughs, collectively advancing the future development of global materials science.
