The SAM-CONAMET International Congress of Metallurgy and Materials is one of the largest Latin American conferences on materials research, technology and applications. This event is held annually and the organization is carried out alternately by the Argentine Materials Association (SAM) and the Chilean Society of Metallurgy and Materials (SOCHIM).
