Ångström’s Tribomaterials Days (ÅTMD) has long been established as an important forum for people with an interest in tribology and tribological materials. In addition to gaining new knowledge and ideas from the various presentations, there are excellent opportunities to connect with technicians, engineers, and researchers from industry and academia.
The Tribomaterials Days usually include around twenty presentations on tribological materials, surface coatings, and applications, as well as posters and product exhibitions, study visits to the Ångström Laboratory, and a pleasant evening with good food and entertainment. About two-thirds of the typically 40–50 participants represent the materials and manufacturing industries.
