Add-on Databases

Add-on Databases

This page has instructions on how to install ThermoTech databases, denoted TT—, to a new Thermo-Calc 2023a installation.

Note that for version 2019a and newer, it will no longer be possible to copy the TT-databases from the installation of Thermo-Calc 2018b or older.

How to Install ThermoTech Databases

  1. Install Thermo-Calc 2023a.
  2. Open the Thermo-Calc data directory in the Thermo-Calc installations, both for 2022b and 2023a. The default paths for this are:
Linux and Mac: Default path: /usr/local/thermocalc//data
    Windows: Default path: C:\\Thermo-Calc\\data
  3. Copy the TT database folder from 2022b to the database folder of Thermo-Calc 2023a.
