How Thermo-Calc Can Assist in Achieving Your Goals of a Reduced Climate Footprint

How Thermo-Calc Can Assist in Achieving Your Goals of a Reduced Climate Footprint

All forward-thinking companies today have high goals for reducing their climate footprint and for achieving sustainable production. There are several reasons for this, but the most important from a business perspective is that companies with ambitious sustainability goals, and that invest in making environmental improvements, are valued higher by the market. Companies that invest in improvement measures simply tend to be more profitable over time.

Calculation and simulation tools such as Thermo-Calc are important enablers for making these improvements. In this presentation, several examples will be given from different areas where Thermo-Calc has been used successfully to enable a reduced climate footprint.

Speaker: Anders Engström, CEO, Thermo-Calc Software

Topics will Include:

  • Developing new, better materials that enable higher efficiency
  • Developing more efficient manufacturing processes that result in less energy consumption or alternatively a higher yield
  • Enabling increased use of recycled materials
  • Developing and optimizing alternative processes
